Application / Properties:
Electrode for joining of
dissimilar steels and for
surfacing purposes. The weld
metal consists of
ferritic-austenitic
Cr-Ni-steel with a delta
ferrite content of
approximately 50% and
non-scaling up to 1100C. It
features high resistance to
cracking and is therefore
indicated for difficult to
weld steels and depositing
stress-relaxing buffer
layers on crack sensitive
base metals. It is suited
for welding galvanized
steels.
fine droplet metal transfer,
good wash-in of joint sides,
finely-rippled bead surface,
easily removable slag. Easy
arc striking and restriking.

Materials:
Dissimilar steels
(unalloyed to austenitic
steels), difficult to
weld steels (e.g. heat
treatable and tool
steels),
high manganese steels, wear
resistant overlays and
repair.

Redrying : required
rebaking at 350°C to 400°C for 2hrs.
