EIN 760                       SA MS 1 89AC

DIN 32 522        B MS 1 89 AC 8 SKM

Type /Characteristics: Agglomerated Manganese-Silicate type flux for high-speed welding. It is preferably used for welding thin plates at speeds higher than 2.5 meter/min. Welding properties arc outstanding on either AC or DC up to 800A. AMA OP 155 is removal. It is likewise suited for tandem and multi-wire welding.

AMA OP 155 produce high Manganese pick-up which decreases with increasing Manganese content of the wire electrode.

Damp flux shall be retried by baking at 300-350C

Grain size in according with DIN 32 522:2-20.

Main constituents:

SiO2+TiO2 CaO+MgO Al203 + MnO
%45 %10 %40

Basicity to boniszewsk: ~0.8

Metallurgical behavior: Pick-up and burn-off the alloying elements Si and Mn as a function of the alloy content

of the wire electrode, DVS Merkblatt 0907, part 1
